Lance Stroll once again had a disappointing run on the track. He was knocked out in Q1 for the sixth time this season. After a dangerous crash in Singapore and a DNF in Japan, Stroll’s frustration was through the roof. While entering the team garage, Stroll was seen pushing his trainer into the wall as he stormed out.

It is standard procedure for each driver to measure their weight after a race. After Stroll’s disappointing qualifying came to an end, he did not follow suit. His trainer was seen telling him to check his weight before entering the garage. Stroll first brushed him aside, but after he insisted again Stroll pushed him out of his way into the wall. Many fans have shown their anger across various social media platforms for Stroll’s unprofessional behavior.

While Aston Martin’s performances have fallen off quite a bit since the start of the season, Stroll has still been constantly overshadowed by his teammate Fernando Alonso. The two drivers currently have a massive 127-point gap between them in the WDC Standings. As just six races remain in this season, Stroll is running out of time to prove his worth to the Aston Martin team.

Lance Stroll gives a bizarre interview after the qualifying at Qatar

Lance Stroll has not been hiding his frustration in Qatar. Starting at P17 after two DNFs in previous races is not the ideal situation for any driver. Stroll seemed to have lost his cool when he pushed his trainer out of his way while he was going back into the team garage. However, things did not end there as he gave a bizarre post-qualifying interview.

Stroll has had a tough season, with rumors of him leaving F1 for tennis even arising at one point. After months of disappointing results, Stroll finally lost his calm in Qatar. In his post-qualifying interview, he answered the interviewer’s questions with visible distaste and just walked off after a few questions.

The journalist asked him how he was feeling after a disappointing qualifying, to which Stroll replied, “Shit.” When asked on what he thinks is going wrong for him, Stroll cut him off in the middle, saying he does not know. He was then asked whether the Qatar Grand Prix has turned into a practice session for him or if will he attempt to take some points in the sprint. Stroll then disregarded the question, said, “Keep driving,” and walked away.
