Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll was in the limelight after the Q1 on Friday. The 24-year-old allegedly shoved his trainer into the wall. His trainer, Henry Howe, insisted Stroll take the necessary weight check after the race. Being extremely frustrated by the race’s outcome, Stroll pushed Howe into the walls before entering the garage. Two days after the incident, Stroll has finally opened up on it.

Stroll claimed that everything was fine between them and that he is a ‘bro’. He said that the ups and downs are a part of the sport, and they go through that together, so no one holds any hard feelings. Stroll’s frustration had reached new heights when he gave a bizarre post-race interview, giving unkempt answers to the interviewer.

“We’re good, he’s a bro. We go through the frustration together, and we ride together, so we’re cool,” said Stroll, as per Racing News 365. Stroll will be starting from P17 on Sunday. He has not yet scored a single point after the summer break. As time runs out, Stroll has to get his mind focused and not buckle under pressure. He currently falls short of Fernando Alonso by 128 points in the standings.

Lance Stroll admits that he is struggling with the AMR-23

Lance Stroll is having one of the most frustrating seasons in F1. Whether it is being constantly overshadowed by his teammate or not doing well on the track, nothing seems to be going his way. His latest run in the Qatar Sprint also saw him getting demoted by two places due to track limit violations. Post-race, Stroll admitted his struggles and frustration.

Stroll said that he could not extract the most out of his car. He said that he is struggling with grip and balance. He also claimed that the team is stuck in a ‘rut’ and is not improving. Frustration is bound to spread across the team due to Stroll’s consistent run of poor performances. Aston Martin is fighting to hold their P4 position in the constructors’ standings. It could have been an entirely different story had Stroll given in some solid results this season.

“Yeah, for sure – I’m just struggling with the car and just getting to grips with the balance, that I’m just not able to extract performance from it right now, which is just difficult, frustrating,” said Stroll.
