McLaren recently took to Twitter to upload a teaser video of their two drivers, Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo competing against each other in a game of Mario Kart. Daniel is seeing a Mario cap and white gloves while Lando is wearing a Luigi cap with white gloves and imitating the two characters in the video.
Based on the teaser video, fans assumed that Ricciardo lost control of the car and lost to Lando in the race. This video is a great way for the team to show the chemistry between the two drivers. Ever since ‘The Honey Badger’ announced that he will be leaving McLaren, fans assumed that the relationship between the team and him have been strained. However, that does not seem to be the case.
The fans love the duo of Norris and Ricciardo and are sad to see Daniel leave. He is probably out of a seat for the next F1 season but is rumoured to be in talks with Mercedes to join them as a reserve driver. It is clear that Daniel has not lost his fire and love for the sport and will find some way to stay with the sport in some capacity.
