Lando Norris is a promising talent in Formula 1. Norris joined the F1 grid in 2019 with McLaren. Ever since then, Lando has impressed the entire paddock with some outstanding performances. Evidently, the McLaren driver outperformed Daniel Ricciardo as a teammate in the Woking-based team to such an extent that Ricciardo was forced out of the team. Norris is known for his good humor, consequently, he is far from an intimidating figure.

However, Lando Norris might have had some character development over the winter. Famous F1 photographer and journalist, Kym Illman recently uploaded a post on Instagram, providing fans with the heights of all the drivers in F1. Correspondingly, Kym mentioned Lando’s height to be 170cm or 5 feet and 7 inches tall. Although, Lando was not pleased with this statement, as he replied, “Factually wrong.”

Norris is always indulging in fun activities for fans

Lando Norris‘s comment can be seen as a serious response. Previously some sources have stated Norris’s height to be 1.76cm, although, 170cm is mentioned by most sources. Though, Lando is famous for his jokes in the paddock. Thus, it might even be possible that Norris could simply be making a light-hearted comment in a bid to give a laugh to his fans. Hence, as of now, fans remain confused about this comment.

Although, it seems that Kym Illman has an idea to solve this issue. The F1 photographer replied to Lando’s comment, with a way to fix this problem. Kym wrote, “@landonorris I will bring a tape measure to Bahrain and we’ll get the official number.” Certainly, if Illman can get a chance to accurately measure the height of Lando Norris, fans would be free of this confusing situation. Although it is evident that Norris is taller than someone like Yuki Tsunoda.

However, for now, fans might assume this conversation to be a serious one. Both parties have used a formal tone with one another. Although, both Lando and Kym are great sports. Hence it might not be surprising that the two are creating a fake feud for some drama in F1 circles. Thus, many fans believe that it is possibly just a friendly conversation, with no harm intended. After all, at least the fans know the actual heights of other drivers such as George Russell.

Kym Illman himself is a great personality in the paddock. Kym is always spending time with drivers and their families. The photographer even gets a chance to capture shots of some of the lesser-known faces in F1. Of course, seeing Illman bring a measuring tape at the season opener or the pre-season test in Bahrain would be a hilarious sight. Though, fans do want to know about Lando Norris’s real height for once and for all.
