The F1 world was busy in the unveiling of the 2024 challengers that the grid will consist of. On the other hand, Lando Norris has come out and reflected upon his previous season and set out his aim for the upcoming season.
Last year, Norris had finished seven times on the podium, with the runner-up place being his favourite. The 24-year-old wants to make a bid for the championship and take the fight up to his friend Max Verstappen. Following this, the aspiring Briton has laid out his targets for the forthcoming season and explained the key weaknesses he needs to work on.
When you don't have a perfect lap or you don't get something exactly right, at times in the past you could get away with it, whereas I think you're going to be able to get away with this less and less. And that requires fewer mistakes, more hard work and learning and perfection in order to achieve consistent results.Lando Norris said as reported by express.co.uk.
Last year, Norris had multiple mistakes while qualifying and wants to iron those mistakes out. The Briton had to climb through the lower grid spots on his way to the front and had a tougher time on Sundays. Thus, the McLaren driver is keen on removing such issues and spends a lot of time on the simulator trying to work on them.
What are Lando Norris’s views on the MCL38?
McLaren’s star driver Norris had recently signed a contract extension with the team to stay with them for a few more years. The team had unveiled the MCL38 last week and the Briton seemed optimistic.

If you were to ask, ‘are Red Bull beatable?’ I am going to have to say ‘yes’.Lando Norris said as reported by News18.
The 24-year-old claimed that they would be on par and beating the dominant Red Bulls. Even last year they were able to take the fight to the Austrians in the latter half of the season. However, the Briton was sceptical about whether they would be able to beat them around the season.
The young gun is now preparing and ready for the upcoming season in his new ride. Subsequently, we would get a better picture of where the team is once the pre-season testing commences.
