Lando Norris names Top DJ as the “best boat driver around” as he holidays in Amsterdam
22-year-old McLaren driver Lando Norris took to Instagram today to share a story in which he was seen sharing a boat ride with world-famous DJ Martin Garrix. The British jokingly called the 26-year-old DJ the best ‘boat driver’ in his story which could be a hint at their strong friendship.
The Italian Grand Prix wasn’t the best race for Lando Norris as he started 3rd on the grid and ended up finishing 7th behind the Safety Car. Norris reckoned he would have had a better position if the Safety Car wasn’t deployed.
Norris is currently 7th on the Driver Standings having scored a total of 88 points for the team and himself. McLaren is 5th on the constructors’ standings despite producing a car that has performed than last year and a majority of their success this season goes to Norris who has been getting points for the team with every race and the fans have shown their love for him in every race.
Lando Norris was left dejected after a tough weekend at Monza
The Italian Grand Prix was not without its excitement and drama and the fans enjoyed every moment of it. However, Lando Norris had a different wave of emotions flowing through him as he had a disappointing start.
He was bumped up to 3rd on the grid after being bumped up on the grid since Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz were suffering from grid penalties and pushed to the back of the grid. He was unhappy with how his race started and blamed it on his team. McLaren has produced a worse car than last season which is the reason why the team is unable to compete with Alpine on the grid.
Currently, McLaren is 5th in the constructors’ championship with a total of 107 points, 88 of which are credited to Lando Norris who is 7th in the Driver Standings while his teammate Daniel Ricciardo is 14th in the Driver Standings with a total of 19 points.
