Lando Norris says he has been subject to ‘death threats,’ and wants to protect his girlfriend from online trolls

Lando Norris
Lando Norris is a new generation talent in Formula 1, being a 22-year-old on the grid he is still pretty young managing the hate people get on social media. Lando in a recent interview talked about the trolls and messages he has been receiving since and after joining F1 as his career option. He also reports the same trolls and unwanted messages his girlfriend receives on all the other media apps.
Norris explained the ill-mindedness, the F1 community has created in the world of social media is a downside to the great life of F1 drivers. Online trolling isn’t new in any sport, but the increasing cause every day is what troubles all the drivers. For every incident and mistake in the race, the professionals have to go through a lot of dump messages.
Lando continued with the more horrific incidents including his girlfriend and the texts she has received after revealing their relationship, and the driver was pretty shocked, “Whether it’s about my personal life, me and my girlfriend, especially the amount of hate pages dedicated to Luisinha now. It is pretty horrific,” he said.

Lando Norris questioned the existence of all the online trolls

Lando did question the wastage of time and life the ones sitting behind the computer screens are leading for, and answered it as the only way not to over their life,
”What I find the funniest in a way is people are actually spending their one life on Earth just sat behind a computer trying to ruin and bully someone. When people are creating fake pages and fake chats, and fake WhatsApp messages, then I am like, ‘You’re actually spending your life doing that?’. They’re wasting their life. I just find it hilarious that’s what they choose to do with their lives,” Norris said.
Online trolls in recent years have taken their peak and there are provisions all along the way, but considering the amount of people things would never stop until you quit the digital world. Formula 1 drivers are often seen taking rest from social media to keep their inner peace alive and keep themselves happy.
