With the Brazilian GP out of the way, fans are now all focused on the massive spectacle that is going to happen in the United States as the first-ever Las Vegas GP will take place. A 3.8 mile-long racetrack has been modelled from the world-famous Vegas Strip to house the much-anticipated race. And fans are simply losing their minds over the immense possibilities that the Las Vegas GP proposes. This is going to be a big step in the FIA’s ambitious plan to help Formula One take over America.

But only weeks before the Main Race, a major setback has somewhat stalled the work that is going on for the Las Vegas GP. As a massive turnout has been expected for the event, the Formula One Management had ordered for the construction of several grandstands at some of the 17 different corners of the racing circuit. But now, the construction of one of those grandstands has been called off. This has given rise to some worries that perhaps the Las Vegas GP is not going to see the overwhelming turnout that it was projected to witness in a couple of weeks’ time.

According to the official notification, the HG2 grandstand section in the West Harmon Zone by Google Chrome at the Las Vegas Circuit will be removed due to some ‘sightline issues’. But the confusing fact is that the tickets for that grandstand have already been sold out. But the officials have clarified that all the ticket-holders will be upgraded to the T-Mobile Zone at Sphere whose tickets are worth $500 more than the cost of the West Harmon tickets.

The Las Vegas GP committee send fans app notifications about their cancelled tickets

The Las Vegas GP is going to be attended by some important people as its ticket prices are almost unimaginable for the common man. And it is obvious that most of the attendees would not have the time to check their mobile phone notifications. Despite this, the Las Vegas GP sent the message about the cancellation of the West Harmon grandstand through their official application. They carried a message for all the fans.

Due to a sightline issue, we have made the decision not to construct the HG2 structure in the West Harmon Zone by Google Chrome. For the inaugural Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix, it is vitally important that each and every fan benefit from an unparalleled viewing experience.

The notification went on about the reallocation of all the ticket-holders to a much better place at the T-Mobile Zone. Thus, the audience will not have any complaints regarding the last-minute cancellation and will be able to view the Grand Prix from a much better vantage point.
