Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton
Lewis Hamilton was the man to beat in Formula One during the turbo-hybrid era but in recent times youth has shown through in the form of Red Bull driver Max Verstappen.
The pair were at each other’s throats during most of the 2021 F1 season where Max Verstappen was just able to nick Lewis Hamilton’s record-breaking 8th title away from him in the last race of the season.
These two are the ones mainly responsible for the growth that Formula One is experiencing worldwide and now that Verstappen has completed 150 Grand races, we are going to have a look at how the two stack up against each other.
After 150 races it is clearly evident that Hamilton has got the edge over Verstappen in every area be it wins, poles or podiums.
Hamilton after 150 races was able to secure 34 wins as compared to Verstappen’s 26 and the Brit is ahead of the Dutchman even when it comes to finishing on the podium.
However, the margin between the two is not huge barring pole positions. Just like last year, they are almost neck and neck after 150 races.

Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton’s 2021 rivalry
The 2021 season of Formula One was a nail-biting affair between Verstappen and Hamilton and there were occasions where things went over the boiling point between the two drivers.
Last season was a roller coaster ride during which fans got the chance to witness one of the most fierce rivalries in the history of Formula One where Max and Lewis were able to put on a show that was one for the ages.
The Dutchman is only 24 years old whereas Hamilton is currently at the twilight stage of his F1 career at 37 years. The Brit has participated in far more races as compared to Max but given Verstappen’s age, he is also destined to participate in a decent number of races in his F1 career also.
Hamilton has currently got 297 starts to his name and is going to reach the 300 mark soon, given that Hamilton has got an edge over Verstappen after 150, it will be fascinating to see how the two would stack up against each other when Verstappen also gets to 300.
