Lewis Hamilton is a Formula 1 icon. Hamilton arguably is the biggest name in and outside of the sport. Lewis is recognized by millions worldwide including some big-shot celebrities. Additionally, the 39-year-old is loved by fans for his incredible style. Subsequently, The Mercedes driver had contacts in the fashion world including the late American designer, Virgil Abloh.
Virgil Abloh had established himself as one of the greats in the industry after becoming a senior designer at Louis Vuitton. Unfortunately, Virgil passed away in December 2021 after a hard-fought battle with cancer for over 2 years. Louis Vuitton recently released one of the last designs in memory of Abloh in the form of new LV Skate Sneakers. Correspondingly, Lewis Hamilton became one of the first buyers of the product.
Lewis Hamilton uploaded a story on his Instagram, flaunting his latest sneakers. Hamilton wrote the caption, “My new Fav @louisvuitton.” Certainly, the 7-time world champion will remember his close friend every time he wears this trendy pair of shoes. Of course, the fashion brand, Louis Vuitton has tried to embrace its former design guru as it released this special set of sneakers.

Lewis Hamilton’s latest pair of shoes cost over $1300!
Louis Vuitton is one of the most exclusive brands globally. Hence, it is no surprise that buyers would have to spend $1340 to purchase these stylish sneakers. Although, for some like Lewis Hamilton, this pair remains priceless. The Mercedes driver would perhaps spend millions for his late close confidant. Nonetheless, this pair is arguably worth every penny because of its impressive design.
The LV Skate Sneakers were showcased in the brand’s Fall-Winter collection for 2022. The shoes are based on a monogram flower design. Additionally, the makers maintained great attention to detail with the shoes having technical mesh, calf leather, and suede in a magnificent manner. Undoubtedly, Lewis Hamilton will make a stellar style statement in the paddock as he usually does in F1. Perhaps a response to the new-found completion by Zhou Guanyu to be the F1 fashionista.
Thus, Lewis Hamilton continues to remember his friend who the world tragically lost in 2021. Virgil Abloh went down in history as one of the most talented designers in the fashion industry. Abloh’s final design is a testament to his legacy. Certainly, it is not just Hamilton who loves the designs made by Virgil, with the late American designer having a massive following.
