Lewis Hamilton is well known all over the world for his amazing exploits around Formula 1 circuits. Hamilton has a mighty record as a driver at the pinnacle of motor racing, but this is not the only thing that excites him. He has a plethora of businesses as well, and he has very recently decided to plunge into the beverage business.
Hamilton has always been seen doing a lot of things outside of F1 to keep himself busy, and continuing with this track; the Brit has decided to try his luck in the beverage business by launching his own nonalcoholic blue agave spirit. The drink will be available from Thursday onwards at Almave.com.
The drink is made from blue agave that comes from Jalisco, Mexico, and it has been crafted much like a Tequila. Hamilton is very excited about this venture.
I’ve always loved tequila for its taste, but there are times when I don’t want the alcohol part of the deal and I know that there is a growing group of people who want the same…we’re all about offering a high-quality option that doesn’t compromise on the craft and flavors of tequila and provides a truly authentic nonalcoholic blue agave experience.
Hamilton told WWD.
Lewis Hamilton’s partner in the venture is a master distiller at Casa Lumbre
While Lewis Hamilton is extremely excited ahead of his drink hitting the market, his partner in the venture, Iván Saldaña, is a master distiller at the Casa Lumbre. Moreover, as per the company, Almave is the only nonalcoholic product to use blue agave. Like Hamilton, Saldana is also hyped up around the drink.
Looking at the comments of both founders, it is quite clear that they have huge expectations from the drink.
I’ve studied agave for many years, so the opportunity to create Almave, a first-of-its-kind distilled blue agave spirit without alcohol, was an exciting endeavor.
Lewis Hamilton has, over the years, become a household name among motorsports enthusiasts, and considering his influence over the fans, the nonalcoholic drink could take the beverage industry by storm. Several people are going to have their eyes glued on how the drink will perform from Thursday onwards.
