Lewis Hamilton named alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the list of Top-10 most searched athletes despite not winning a Grand Prix in two years

Lewis Hamilton, the former 7-time world champion, is a global personality. He has an ocean of fans worldwide, and while he has not won a single Grand Prix in two years (since 2021), he has still managed to make it into the top 10 list of the most searched sportsmen of the last 12 months.
On the esteemed list, as reported by MARCA, are huge names like Erling Haaland, Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Kylian Mbappe, Virat Kohli, Lebron James, and footballing legends like Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Cristiano Ronaldo. While Ronaldo is at the top of the list with a massive 199.4m searches, Lewis Hamilton slots in at number 10 with 34.9m. His main rival, Max Verstappen, is at 11th with 34.3 million searches.
Hamilton’s number does not look eye-catching at first glance, but what makes it special is that he has not won a race since the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in 2021. It has been almost two years without a win for him, but despite this, he still holds a lot of pull over the fans all over the globe.
He has so far had an illustrious Formula 1 career, and when one talks about the pinnacle of motor racing, his name has become synonymous with the sport. Moreover, he is a huge personality across all sports, and it does not really come as a surprise that he is still making people search his name via their phones/laptops.

While Lewis Hamilton is currently in the twilight phase of his F1 career at 38 years of age, he still has the desire and the will to keep continuing at the pinnacle of motor racing. Since 2021, he really has not had the weaponry underneath him to challenge for the world championship, but despite this, he has recently entrusted his future to Mercedes until the end of 2025. He ardently feels that the Brackley-based team would be able to make a huge step up in the upcoming years.

Lewis Hamilton is one of the best racers to have ever entered the unpredictable world of F1, and if he wins his eighth world title in the near future, there is a very high chance that he will be seen much higher on the most searched top 10 list than his current tenth place slot.
