Lewis Hamilton shares how it feels to be back on the podium, claims he ‘doesn’t like to lose’
Lewis Hamilton comments on finishing on the Singapore GP podium but losing out on the win.

Mercedes looked their old best at the Singapore Grand Prix, especially in the closing laps of the race. The Silver Arrows were aiming for the win and that itself was a welcome surprise for fans amidst the Red Bull dominance. Lewis Hamilton,the sole podium winner for Mercedes at Singapore was asked to comment on his podium and on getting closer to the top.
“I think it’s been a growing experience within the infrastructure. I think I’ve probably had to try to commit even more time just through sheer will of wanting to get there. And I think everyone has”, said Hamilton. The seven-time world champion claims the hunger to chase for wins is alive and that he’s enjoying his climb back to the peak of motorsport.
“I don’t mind it, because we don’t like to lose, and we love the job that we do, so I’m enjoying it.” The Mercedes driver looked visibly distraught at the podium celebrations for missing out of the win. Lewis certainly had the pace for P1 and, hopefully for his fans, the legend will kick back into his top form at Suzuka.

Lewis Hamilton pointed out Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris lack in comparison with him
Lewis won his 196th career podium at the Singapore GP. He was asked about when he expects to reach his 200th. The Veteran was accompanied by youngsters, Carlos and Lando, in the interview.

Hamilton looked visibly shy in response to the question and then turned to the pair accompanying him, asking “Geesh… 200… You guys haven’t even done 196 races have you?”.
Lewis will set out looking to reach the 200th podium by the end of this season. Fans, however, think only the ‘104th win’ can quench Lewis’ thirst for more Formula 1 glory.
