Brad Pitt will soon be racing in F1 for the upcoming movie based on the sport. Hamilton stated, “Brad is going to be racing in the movie in his fifties, so I would be the third-oldest driver.” The 38-year-old further mentioned how there are several other sportspersons who played way beyond 40.

Lewis cited Tom Brandy as another example emphasizing fitness and health. The Mercedes driver said, “There are people out there like Tom Brady [who retired, aged 45]. There are different ways you can train, how you can eat, and your focus.”

The 7-time champion wanted to continue battling his former teammate for years. Lewis Hamilton stated, “I cannot speak for Fernando but I am hoping for more great fights with him moving forward.” The 38-year-old highlighted his mindset about racing. He explained, “The technology in our bodies is shifting, and it is just about the mentality and whether or not you still have the drive to sacrifice the same as you did when you first started, and I do.”

Hamilton even pointed out his focus on longevity, something he lacked in his 20s. He continued, “It is not taking me longer to recover. It is better because I am more focused on recovery than I ever have been before.”When I was 22, I was not focused on recovery. I didn’t know anything about it. I was just going home having a pizza and not knowing what I needed to do the next day.”

Lewis Hamilton has given some hints about his plans for the future in F1. The Mercedes driver is a racer through and through who wants to keep on following his passion. The 38-year-old might have considered retiring in the past. But currently, it seems that Hamilton is eager to race in Formula 1 with Fernando Alonso, perhaps in their 50s.
