“Make VB an honorary citizen already” – Fans react as Australian Beer giant Victoria Bitter posts a special F1 livery for Valtteri Bottas
Valtteri Bottas gets presented a special livery by Australian beer company, Victoria Bitter
Valtteri Bottas recently brought out his inner Aussie as the Finnish driver spends time down under’ after an eventful 2022 Formula 1 season. Bottas had surprised the fans by showing up in Melbourne and wearing a Victoria Bitter singlet while also pulling off a mullet to suit his new surroundings. Valtteri’s new personality had already amazed the fans as the Finn truly became an Australian, with the fans not having enough of it.
Valtteri Bottas’s VB singlet had attracted a lot of attention as his fans seemed eager to have the Australian Beer company partner up with the F1 driver as the two shared the same initials. And as it seems the PR team of Victoria Bitter took notice as they uploaded an F1 livery with the iconic VB logos but with the name of the 33-year-old on Instagram, as VB tried to tease the fans with the possibilities of the two pairing up.
The car showcased the historic green color of the beer giant, along with a special helmet design for the Finn. The post was uploaded with the caption, “Team VB, @ValtteriBottas are you in?” as the brand joked about signing up with Bottas for an F1 entry. This of course goes perfectly with Valtteri’s new adventures and would truly make him a real Aussie as the 33-year-old gets a nod of approval from one of the country’s most recognizable companies, while also help in filling up the void left in the sport by the departing Daniel Ricciardo.
Fans want VB’s Valtteri Bottas livery to come true
As the post was shared on Reddit, fans could not hold back their excitement as the beer company played on the joke. One fan urged VB to sponsor Bottas and replied, “It’s not the livery we deserve but it’s the livery we need right now.”
Another user stated their approval for such a collaboration and said, “Yes Please! VB is good beer too..” While one fan considered the possibility of the Finn getting a personal sponsor by VB, the fan stated, “Personally sponsorship would be really really nice even its a one off for Melbourne.”
Thus as it seems, both Valtteri Bottas and Victoria Bitter are meant for one another, even though these recent events are most probably just some friendly banter between the pair for the fans, it could perhaps become an endorsement deal with Bottas donning the VB logo. It if ever did happen it would definitely get a great response from the Aussie fans thus becoming a success. But for now, as the 33-year-old stays at Alfa Romeo, the chances for such a deal may not be extremely likely.
