WATCH: Max Verstappen congratulates 18-year-old Oliver Bearman on sensational Ferrari debut at Saudi Arabian GP
Oliver Bearman has seen a massive rise in his stock as a racing driver since the Saudi Arabian GP.

Oliver Bearman, the F2 driver, has become a household name among F1 fans since dawning the red gear of the Ferrari team. He was brought into the Ferrari setup for Saudi out of nowhere and despite the short notice, he performed admirably.
Last night, Bearman ended his exploits in a brilliant seventh-place, and all the drivers including, Max Verstappen, approached him and congratulated him on his sensational outing. The 18-year-old executed a flawless 50-lap race from start to finish.
The Brit was asked to take on the responsibility of driving Carlos Sainz‘s SF-23 who was sidelined from Friday onwards because of an Appendcitis problem. However, despite the sudden notice, Bearman stepped up and surpassed expectations.

All the other 19 drivers took notice of this fact during the Saudi Arabian GP and after the race, all of them were seen congratulating Bearman. Moreover, the reigning world champion, Max Verstappen, was among the first few drivers to appreciate the Brit’s efforts.

While Verstappen and Co. did not leave any stone unturned in applauding Oliver Bearman, the latter with his performance, has made it known that he is ready to fight it out with the big boys on a regular basis. Starting from P11, he kept his nose clean during the early tussles and slowly but surely gained confidence behind the wheel of the SF-24 during the race.
Moreover, he was able to pull off some breathtaking maneuvers on the well-established drivers in the sport. Bearman did not loose his cool during the challenging 50-lap Grand Prix and for this, he has received and as still receiving immense praise from the F1 community.
