The Red Bull Formula 1 team steamrolled its competition during the 2023 season. The outfit performed in a league of its own on the back of its mighty weapon(RB19) but with the sport currently at a halt, Max Verstappen has taken the time to talk about RB19’s weakness.

Max Verstappen was able to decimate his 2023 competition on most occasions during the recently concluded campaign. But one area where the whole team seemed to struggle was putting a potent car out on track, especially around the low-speed speed tight, and twisty circuits.

The Singapore Grand Prix brought an end to their win streak with Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz triumphing in the event and keeping RB19’s weakness in view, Verstappen has recently said, as reported by Soymotor;

Mainly, I think in urban and low-speed circuits. In this type of things I think we have not been the best.

The 26-year-old has made it quite clear that for the 2024 season of the pinnacle of motor racing, Red Bull needs to put in immense work around making its car act well around the low-speed circuits. Verstappen views this as his team’s biggest Achilles heel going into next year.

Max Verstappen could secure a fourth-consecutive title in 2024

While Max Verstappen has asked his team to sort out the issues he faced with his car this year, he was still able to secure the 2023 world title quite comfortably. Moreover, Verstappen is currently on a title streak of three consecutive years which got underway at the end of the 2021 campaign.

Red Bull has done a wonderful job under the current set of F1 regulations, and Verstappen is going to expect them to continue this trend. Several teams are expected to make a strong comeback next year and thus, Christian Horner and Co. really can’t afford to slack off in any way.

Max Verstappen has done a brilliant job in recent years and keeping everything in view, he will have a very good chance of securing his fourth consecutive F1 title next year. He will have several eyes glued on him during the initial few rounds of the 2024 campaign for various reasons.
