Formula 1 driver, Max Verstappen is a man of many talents. He made his debut in the pinnacle of Motorsports in the 2015 F1 season with Scuderia Torro Rosso. From the start, it was clear that Max was extremely talented. due to his exemplary performances, the Dutchman was promoted to Redbull’s top team in Formula 1. Ever since then, Max has gone on to become one of the team‘s most successful drivers.
After winning his maiden Formula One drivers championship back in 2021, Max Verstappen signed a multi-year deal with Red Bull Racing. The two would compete together on the F1 grid till 2028. this deal has shot him to the top of the standings when it comes to being the highest paid F1 driver. However, many fear that 2028 would be the Dutch driver’s last year in the pinnacle of Motorsports.
The Red Bull driver has made it clear in many interviews that he does not intend to stay in Formula 1 for long. Max Verstappen has a keen interest in other forms of Motorsports with endurance racing being one of them. when asked about possibly acquiring the role of a F1 team principal, the two-time world champion was not very keen on that endeavour. when he leaves Formula 1, it will be for good.
Max Verstappen doesn’t want to become an F1 team principal

In an interview with CNN, here is what Max Verstappen had to day when asked about taking a role of team principal. “No, not in Formula 1,” he said. “I also like other forms of motorsport, like endurance racing. Formula 1 has been a big part of my life for a long time. We have to travel a lot and there will be more races in the future. The question then arises whether it is worth spending so much time away from family and friends to chase even more success,” he continued.
Max Verstappen derives. Some similarities with Michael Schumacher has both of the drivers seem to be family men. However, the decision of Verstappen becoming a team boss is still far away as he is still with an F1 contract. The Dutch driver is busy preparing for the upcoming 2023 F1 season where he will aim to retain his World championship.
