Max Verstappen's girlfriend openly critiques Lando Norris for breaking his Hungarian Grand Prix trophy.

Max Verstappen’s girlfriend Kelly Piquet aims the gun at Lando Norris for breaking the Dutchman’s Hungarian GP trophy

Lando Norris, who placed second behind Max Verstappen in Hungary, was able to win back-to-back podiums. The British driver ended up breaking Verstappen’s Winner’s Trophy even though he was unable to interrupt the Dutchman’s seven-race winning streak. The situation became even more intriguing when Norris received a mysterious Instagram warning from Verstappen’s girlfriend Kelly Piquet, which greatly perplexed the fans.

Max Verstappen has received an apology from Lando Norris for breaking the trophy he won at the Hungarian Grand Prix. In Budapest, Norris followed up his triumph at Silverstone with another P2 result, and the two of them celebrated on the podium on Sunday. Verstappen, meanwhile, claimed victory to extend his lead in the Drivers’ Championship to 110 points.

Although the whole situation made Norris feel somewhat ashamed, he and Verstappen both laughed it off. After the event, Norris left comments on several Instagram photos made by Red Bull and F1 respectively. However, Piquet’s response to Norris’s remark on a post written by Verstappen himself was mysterious. Verstappen uploaded a photo of himself grabbing the damaged trophy with the comment, “Thanks Lando Norris [trophy emoji][wink emoji].” In addition to some laughing emojis, Norris wrote “I’m so sorry” as a comment on the photo. The peculiar thing, though, was Piquet’s response to Norris, which was, “Hope you have better form tomorrow.”

In the first eight races of the F1 season, Norris only finished higher than the eighth once, but in the last three races, he hasn’t finished lower than P4. He achieved consecutive podium finishes for the first time in his career. Verstappen was able to take the lead in the race immediately despite starting from second on the grid after Lewis Hamilton. The Dutch driver crossed the finish line in P1 to win the race for Red Bull for the 12th time in a row, setting a new F1 record. Additionally, he individually won seven straight races, falling two short of Sebastian Vettel’s record.

In comparison to McLaren’s winning streak of 11 races in 1988 with Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost, Red Bull has won 12 straight races. It’s a new World Record in the Sport. Given that Formula 1 has 24 races, Red Bull might make it up to 20 or more victories in a row if not 24. This might prove to be the best year for any team and driver in the history of the sport for Red Bull.
