Previously, it was reported that Max Verstappen might have hidden the true pace of the RB-20. Milton Keynes reportedly used a low-power hybrid mode for the Dutchman with extra fuel. Despite such a strategy, Verstappen’s impressive pace was evident throughout the test. As such, rivals would be warned about the pace of the reigning world champion. Fernando Alonso has already stated that the 26-year-old will win the 2024 F1 title.

Certainly, Verstappen and Red Bull remain the favorites for the season opener in Bahrain. The reigning world champions are believed to be a massive step ahead of their rivals despite the work done by the likes of Ferrari and McLaren. Notably, Charles Leclerc claimed that the Scuderia faced no unpleasant surprises.

Nevertheless, fans would be hoping that Max Verstappen faces a challenge from the rest of the grid in 2024. Although, the Dutch driver will likely take pole position when the F1 season begins next weekend at the Sakhir International Circuit.
