George Russell is having a very solid 2022 F1 season for the Brackley-based Mercedes team and after 16 rounds, is in the fourth position in the Drivers Championship.

What’s surprising is the fact that Russell has been able to get the better of the prolific Lewis Hamilton on many occasions this season, despite him being in his rookie season with the Silver Arrows.

The 24-year-old has massively impressed the pundits of the sport as ahead of the current campaign, no one was giving him much of a chance of being able to fight with Hamilton, however, Russell has proved all his doubters wrong and is currently 35 points ahead of the former 7-time World Champion.
