Formula 1 relies heavily on sponsors. It is often said that an F1 car is just a moving billboard. As such, some of the biggest brands advertise via the sport be it through deals with drivers or teams. Monster Energy is one of the biggest energy drink manufacturers in the world. The American brand has partnered with Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes for several years now. However, the energy drink giant will no longer sponsor the Silver Arrows.

Monster Energy has been removed from the official Mercedes F1 team website. This marks the end of a longstanding relationship between the two parties that began when the German carmaker acquired and rebranded Brawn GP in 2010.

Hamilton serves as a brand ambassador for the American brand. As per reports, the seven-time world champion would continue to be supported by Monster Energy for the upcoming season. Additionally, the Briton even has his own signature drink in collaboration with the energy drink giant. Lewis Hamilton is often spotted drinking the LH44 Monster Energy drink in the F1 paddock as well.

Monster Energy will partner with McLaren in 2024

At the end of the 2023 F1 season, McLaren announced its new partnership with Monster Energy. The American brand has signed a long-term deal with the Woking-based team. Monster Energy would have prominent branding on the driver helmets, race suits, caps as well as drinks bottles of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.

Certainly, McLaren and Monster Energy will be planning to get the most out of this new partnership in the coming months. Although, there has been no official confirmation about the iconic ‘M’ logo appearing on the 2024 McLaren cars.

Fans are excited to see how this new partnership looks when McLaren reveals its livery and driver overalls for 2024. Many might be hopeful of seeing the iconic Monster neon green on the car. However, it remains to be seen the results of this new deal. Although, many would miss the iconic logo on the Silver Arrows, it will be interesting to know how Hamilton’s deal with Monster Energy works in the upcoming F1 season.
