Miami Grand Prix 2022: When And Where to Watch, TV Channel Details for the 5th round of Formula One

After a long wait, it is time for the Miami Grand Prix! If the first four races of the all-new Formula 1 2022 season is anything to go by, then we are in for one of the most thrilling seasons of all time! Only four races down the line, we have already got two Championship favorites–current WDC Standings leader Charles Leclerc from Scuderia Ferrari, and reigning World Champion Max Verstappen from Red Bull Racing. Both these talented drivers have already won two races each, but Verstappen’s RB-18 reliability issues have placed him second in the current rankings, 29 points behind Leclerc.

With tensions high in both the Red Bull and Ferrari paddocks, we will go to the US for our next Grand Prix of this season–the Miami Grand Prix. It will be the fifth race in the Calendar, and fans are stoked to see their favourite drivers swerve around the curves of the Miami International Autodrome. This is the first time that this American circuit has appeared on the F1 schedule, and with the sports’ increasing popularity in the States, it is expected that the Miami GP will draw a huge crowd on the race day.

Going into the Miami Grand Prix, Ferrari is the clear favourite for the Constructors’ Championship title, but Red Bull is also not too far. Although their car has some initial issues with reliability, the RB-18 is now as smooth-sailing as ever since the team won an amazing 1-2 finish in the Imola Grand Prix. After Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen on the WDC Standings, there is Sergio Perez, who is only 5 points behind his Red Bull teammate. Another 5-point-gap separates Perez and George Russell, who is currently in the fourth place. Scuderia Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz finished the top 5 with 38 points to his name.

Going into the Miami Grand Prix, all these talented drivers will hound for some precious Championship points as all their eyes are fixed on winning the title for themselves.
