One would not be wrong to assume that Ross Brawn has spent his entire life in the sport of Formula 1 because that is the kind of experience and knowledge about all things related to F1 that the man possesses. Former team owner of Brawn GP and current F1 Motorsports Director, Ross Brawn has seen the careers of F1 legends like Michael Schumacher up front.

As the current season of F1 is already underway, fans have already taken note of the many technical rule changes that the FIA have brought in for this year. As a result, it is quite apparent that the sport has travelled a long way from the old, conventional way in which it was held before.

Now, seven-time World Champion Michael Schumacher, who started his career in F1 in 2001, had been a part of the “old” version of Formula 1. In the new way that directs the races in F1, more and more technology is being used to ensure competition between all the cars in the grid, and a thrilling spectacle for the audience. Speaking of how much F1 has changed over the years, Ross Brawn talked about how Michael Schumacher would have loved the new version of F1 if he could experience it.

Michael Schumacher has spent a whopping 18 seasons in Formula 1. With such a vast experience, he has rightfully been called as one of the greatest racers to have ever graced the sport of F1. Yet, his skiing accident a few years ago had left him bedridden, and now he lives away from the public eye, focusing only on his health.

As Michael Schumacher is not in the right shape to attend any of the Grand Prix’s, all his fans often miss the sight of the German man watching his favourite game. And now that F1 has changed so much over the years, supporters of Schumacher also wonder if he would have been happy with the sudden upheaval.

Ross Brawn talked about this in his recent interview, and he said, “He used to be the last person to leave the paddock on Saturday night before the race. He would be great in this new era. Michael would love the new Formula 1!”
