‘Misjudged that like it was an apex,’ Carlos Sainz mercilessly trolled after banging his head against the ‘barrier’
Carlos Sainz
Carlos Sainz’s visit to Australia and Italy seemed to have been cursed, as, in both the races, he DNF and for both, he could not be blamed entirely. And that streak of poor luck seems to have followed the Spaniard to Miami as well.
On Friday, during the second free practice, Sainz crashed into the wall as he failed to control the car and took a heavy blow to the car’s rear and left side. And on Saturday, while entering the safety lane through a small metal window on the fence between the track and the lane, Carlos bumped his head pretty strong.
And as soon as the clip went viral, the trolling began. Fans took a light dig at Sainz. One of them read, “Misjudged that like it was an apex.” While some shared support messages as well. “After the contract, nothing seems to be going great for him except the money, but he’ll bounce back,” read one of the supporting tweets.

How is the current flow of Carlos Sainz’s season?
The 2022 season began with great hope for Ferrari and Sainz. After outperforming his teammate and long time Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc in 2021, with a great car, Sainz has been expected to do wonders this season, especially winning the first race of his career.
But, after the first two great races, he seems to have hit a slump as he DNF in both Australia and Italy. And since his contract extension before Australia, the pressure seems to be mounting for him and he has a chance to prove himself this weekend.
In Miami, he didn’t have great practice sessions. While he crashed in the second, he was P6 in the first, behind Pierre Gasly at P5. With a new track, all the drivers have equal knowledge of it, and if Sainz maintains his posture, he can surely bag a podium at the inaugural Miami GP.
