Red Bull Racing F1 driver Max Verstappen comes into the Italian Grand Prix weekend as the championship leader and that too by a huge margin. Title contenders Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez are 109 points behind the Dutch driver in the standings. When it comes to the constructors championship, Red Bull leads it over Ferrari by 135 points. Verstappen and the team can be more than happy with their progress so far this season.

Max Verstappen has been close to unstoppable this season. He has won races by starting in 10th and also in 14th position on the grid proving that he has gotten what it takes to win the championship yet again.

With the Italian Grand Prix weekend underway it is also a reminder about Max’s results in Monza. The Dutch driver has only managed a best finish of fifth racing in the temple of speed. It is a curse that the driver wants to break this weekend with Ferrari and Mercedes right behind them.
