‘Next level Superman,’ Fans hail Sebastian Vettel for blatantly defying FIA’s new underwear regulations

Sebastian Vettel
Sebastian Vettel has earned a reputation of being an extremely talented driver but also a person who speaks his heart out and does what he feels like. The four time world championship gave us a glimpse of that during the Australian GP. Vettel was making a comeback from COVID-19 after missing the first two races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. So, it became a tad bit more difficult for him to adjust to the pace of the track.
This led to Sebastian Vettel crash in Qualifying. But what we saw after the incident was unbelievable. Usually, the drivers are driven back to the pits but it wasn’t the case with the German. Sebastian Vettel decided to take the scooter and drive it himself. He was driving with a half worn helmet and waving fans with both hands off the handle. FIA quickly took notice of that and handed him a fine.
Again, it seems like Sebastian Vettel doesn’t like the rules enforced by the FIA. The governing body has decided to be stricter in terms of the kind of underwear drivers wear. There is already a rule in place regarding the material that is allowed to be worn. Sebastian Vettel doesn’t agree with the rule, therefore, he decided to wear an underwear over his driving suit and fans just seem to love it.

Earlier, Lewis Hamilton also expressed his discontentment over the jewelry rule. He said, “Well I’ve got certain piercings that I really just can’t take out, that not many people know of… Nah I’m kidding!”
“It’s been the rule forever, since I’ve been here it’s been the rule, so nothing new. I’m just going to come with more jewellery next week.”
“There are “more important issues to focus on,” as reported by independent.
Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton have been against these so called petty rules but they should also understand that it’s being done for the safety of the drivers.
