“Penalty incoming”: F1 Twitter predicts penalty for Max Verstappen after his almost-crash with Lando Norris in Japanese GP qualifying

Max Verstappen secured the pole position during Japanese GP qualifying, however, there’s another incident that has got fans demanding FIA to impose a penalty on the Dutchman for causing almost causing collision with Lando Norris.
During qualifying, a point came where Max Verstappen was weaving on the track to get some temperature into his tires, and that almost caught Lando Norris out who was preparing for the start of a fast lap.
Because of Verstappen’s antics, Norris had to take invasive action and he even went onto the grass to avoid a collision that could have proven fatal for the safety of both drivers.
F1 fans are not at all pleased with the irresponsible driving of Verstappen and have called for his head by demanding a penalty to be imposed on him.
Fans are distraught at the actions of Max Verstappen and some of them are almost certain that Max has got a hefty penalty heading in his direction.
The Max and Lando incident is under investigation at the moment, and all eyes are on the FIA as to what they deem fit as a penalty.

Can Max Verstappen get a grid drop for tomorrow’s race?
This season the FIA has been very critical in dealing with on-track incidents and considering how close the incident was between Max and Lando, the former could get a big penalty.
As per the swirling rumors, the Dutchman could be in line to get a grid penalty for the Japanese GP, however, this is all speculation until the hierarchy at FIA comes up with something definitive.
Max Verstappen has got an opportunity off sealing the 2022 F1 title at Suzuka, and any kind of grid drop ahead of the race could potentially ruin his and Red Bull’s plans going into tomorrow.
