Guenther Steiner has recently made it known that Haas is in solid talks with potential parties and could also very soon announce a new title sponsor for the team.

Haas F1 team has raced without a title sponsor this year after the Nikita Mazepin saga escalated during pre-season and culminated with the withdrawal of UralKali as their title sponsor.

However, despite the early setbacks, Guenther Steiner has stressed that the American team is on the path to recovery from the financial ramifications of the untimely split and has said, “I think in the end we will get out better because we are scoring points.”

The always upbeat Steiner was asked to give his thoughts on the ever-growing popularity of F1, Haas’s improvement this season, and how it is impacting the team, Steiner said, “Oh, there are quite a lot of people [wanting to watch] at the moment.”

Honestly, I mean, what is a queue? A queue is three people but I mean, you don’t have that many companies that [will] pay you this amount of money, but we have had very good talks and it is progressing very well.”

Hopefully, if everything goes well in the next month or two, we can announce something.”

Steiner was further asked if the current negotiations that he is having with potential partners could also include a title sponsor deal, Steiner added, “Hopefully, a title [sponsor] as well, but that is not for sure.”

After UralKali’s withdrawal, Haas was left with no option but to run a plain livery without the blue and red. Moreover, with Nikita Mazepin’s sacking, the team had to work round the clock in order to get Kevin Magnussen into the VF-22 for the second pre-season testing in Bahrain.

Steiner while reflecting on the chaotic events before the start of the season said, “We are negotiating, but as you say, there is good interest in it.

In the beginning, the good interest was people wanting to a cheap ride, because they thought we were struggling and all that stuff. That didn’t work.”

People see what we are doing. We got kicked in our nuts basically, but we are still up and standing and going strong. People believe in that.

They know that we can do better than what we are doing now.”

Guenther Steiner ardently believes that what Haas is doing this year is getting noticed all over the world and sees it as a good sign in order to get new partners on board very soon.

Haas, after 13 rounds, has got 34 points to its name and is showing itself well in the extremely tight midfield battle. If they can keep their strong run going in the second leg of the F1 season, then it is almost certain that Haas is going to become a hot property with whom everyone would want to associate.
