Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo are two drivers, who are at very different stages in their F1 careers. The duo had their first start/stop stint on the Red Bull sister team together last year and they were almost at par.
However, with the 2024 F1 season just around the corner, renowned F1 pundit, Peter Windsor, has made it known that the upcoming campaign could prove to be the last in the sport for either Yuki Tsunoda or the former eight-time Grand Prix winner, Daniel Ricciardo.

While talking about the same on the Cameron F1 Podcast, Windsor said,
This is effectively if Yuki doesn’t blow Daniel away, I’d say his career’s probably gone, and equally if Daniel doesn’t blow Yuki away, his career’s probably gone. So there’s a lot riding on those two.

Looking at the reaction of the F1 pundit, it seems that the two Visa Cash App RB drivers will have no option but to gun for each other’s throats during the upcoming campaign. Moreover, as things stand, both could also have a say in who gets the coveted 2025 seat at Red Bull.
Daniel Ricciardo’s target since returning to F1 has been to secure the Red Bull seat
While Peter Windsor has given Ricciardo and Tsunoda a bit of a heads-up regarding their F1 future, the former has made it no secret since returning, that he wants to get back into the Red Bull setup. Moreover, it recently came to light that he already has the backing of the Red Bull hierarchy.

Ricciardo during his time with the Milton-Keynes-based team amassed noteworthy success. He and Max Verstappen made an incredibly strong duo until the time the Australian decided to part ways with the team(2018).

Daniel Ricciardo’s career has taken a massive dip since his time at McLaren, but during the upcoming season, he will have the opportunity to turn everything around. If everything pans out well for him this year, then there will be every chance of seeing him driving for the Red Bull F1 team in 2025.
