Lewis Hamilton, the former seven-time world champion, has dropped a bombshell by joining the Ferrari outfit for the 2025 F1 season. The world has come together to share their views on it and while people are still talking, Italian royalty, Enzo Ferrari‘s son, Piero Ferrari, has admitted that Hamilton fits perfectly into the scarlet-colored team’s setup.
Lewis Hamilton is a legendary driver, from winning 103 races,104 pole positions, and amassing a record seven world championships, he has done it all at the pinnacle of motor racing. Moreover, he is seen by many as the best to have driven in the sport in its history.
Piero Ferrari is well aware of Hamilton’s past exploits and while interlinking it with Ferrari’s legacy, Piero said to Quotidinano Nazionale, as reported by FormulaPassion.it:
He has lived and is still living a fantastic story with Mercedes. But certainly, as I said at the beginning, he was never indifferent to our story. He is also very close to the motoring legend, as a child he had Senna as an idol, in 2013 he took over from Michael Schumacher at Mercedes. Personally, I'm very happy, God forbid. A figure like that of Lewis fits perfectly with the Ferrari myth.
Piero Ferrari with his fascinating reaction has made it known clear that Ferrari is overjoyed with the 2025 arrival of Lewis Hamilton in Maranello. Moreover, has indicated that the Brits will fit just fine into the Italian team’s setup when he dawns the red of the iconic Italian outfit.
