I was surprised by this change. Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff didn't call me, but we briefly exchanged text messages. But so far it's not an issue for me, also because at 36 I still have all the time in the world. So this doesn't go away. But my signs haven't changed. I think that I have learned and understood a lot in this one year without racing, including about myself. Being on the other side had a big impact on me; a lot of questions came up. So far there is no active project.
Vettel said, as reported by NZZ.

There have been a lot of rumors circulating that Toto Wolff has been contacting the German to arrange a sensational comeback to the team in 2025. The former Formula One champion has declined to consider the notion. Rosberg claims that he is not physically or psychologically prepared to take on the dangers of contemporary Grand Prix racing. The 2016 champion also added how after so many years of break, he won’t be able to handle the G-forces as reactive as he used to be.

But Mercedes needs to find a good replacement for Hamilton as soon as possible. After the mid-season, every team will try to bring the best drivers on board with them. With 13 driver contracts ending at the end of this season on the grid. It would be interesting to see who will take the team seat for 2025 and beyond.
