Sebastian Vettel‘s name will forever be engraved in the history of Formula One thanks to his enormous contribution to the sports. The former Red Bull racer brought four Championship wins to his team during the period between 2010 and 2013 when he was virtually unbeatable. At a time when racing stalwarts like Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Fernando Alonso, and Limi Raikkonen were all vying for the win, Vettel silenced them all as he collected back-to-back F1 titles.
But Vettel’s career came to an abrupt end when he announced his retirement at the age of 35 last year. The emotional farewell that the entire F1 family gave to Sebastian Vettel on the last day of his journey as a racer in the sport is still etched in the minds of the fans. Since then, the German has not revealed any plans regarding his career in motorsports outside of Formula One but rumor has it that he is courting offers from all the other series such as Formula E and IndyCar.
But the latest reports suggest that Sebastian Vettel might be well on his way towards a Formula 1 comeback. Helmut Marko, a person who has been close to Vettel since his Red Bull days, recently commented (according to PlanetF1), “I think the driver situation is not over for him yet.” The hundreds of thousands of fans who shower love for Vettel every time he makes a public appearance or drives at the Nürbergring wish to see him on the track in a driver role again and if Marko’s words come true, that wish will be realised soon.
Helmut Marko had also hinted at Sebastian Vettel taking up a managerial position

Only a few days prior to Marko’s latest comment on Vettel donning his racing gears again, he said the former World Champion might come back to F1 as a team executive. He said, “It is not impossible that he will come back for a top management position. We had a conversation and if he could get a position like that, it could appeal to him. He certainly has the potential and the personality for it.”
Given Helmut Marko’s conflicting comments, fans are currently apprehensive regarding whether Sebastian Vettel will return in a racing role or if he will be seen as a Team Manager, or if he will come back at all. While all these questions plague the F1 world, it remains to be seen if the German comments on this and clears up the air regarding his future moves in the world of motorsports.
