Having been the team principal of the Rokit Venturi racing team since 2018, Suzie Wolff was promoted to the position of CEO at the end of last year. Susie also happens to be the wife of Mercedes AMG F1 Team Principal Toto Wolff. Now that the Formula E season has ended, she will finally be stepping down from her position at the Monaco based racing outfit.
The 2022 Formula E season was a successful one for Susie Wolff and her team as they managed to achieve 2nd place in the constructors championship. Meanwhile Edoardo Mortara finished in third position in the drivers’ championship. This was an absolutely incredible feat for the team to accomplish.
Earlier during the year, it had been announced that Maserati will be working with Venturi racing as their engine supplier for next season. Having 5 wins overall was an impressive run for Susie Wolff with Venturi racing. She announced on twitter about her decision to part ways with the team. This is what her message said.
“I leave with immense pride in the solid foundations we have built together” Susie Wolff on her stepping down

“As the most successful season in Venturi’s history comes to an end, so does my personal journey with the team and Formula E. I leave with immense pride in the solid foundations we have built together, as the team begins a new chapter with Maserati”, she said.
“When I joined Venturi, my goal was to build a team that was not just successful on track, but stood for a greater purpose. A racing family, that celebrated diversity and championed inclusivity. While that journey still continues, I’m so proud of the progress we’ve made”, says Wolff.
Susie Wolff really did have a large impact on the Monaco based outfit. Her ethics and dedication have brought the team to new heights as they start a new chapter with Maserati by their side from next season.
