Lewis Hamilton had an amazing race after a bad qualifying on Saturday, where he finished in P6.

Hamilton had a good start to the race until he collided with Kevin Magnussen and had a puncture. He pitted for new tyres and saw himself on P19. Hopes for a good weekend were fade for a while for the Mercedes Driver.

Though he struggled for a while, ultimately got hold of the car and managed the tyres to their best to get him the result he himself didn’t think of.

Hamilton was heard on the radio asking for DNF because it was nothing he thought he could fight for.

But the 7-time world championship renewed the fighter inside him that the fans and all the drivers have been seeing for quite some time now. He managed the race with the best strategy and managed not only to finish the race but on points, top 5.

Fans also voted him as the driver of the day vowing for a return to the throne, which he has been on until last season.

Mercedes after the struggles over the start of the 2022 season was something people are not accustomed to. The silver team were suffering from porpoising causing the driver’s physically and affecting the car’s overall pace.

But as the team entered the Spanish Grand Prix bringing raft upgrades to solve their porpoising issues, that worked for them brilliantly. They were one of the fastest cars in practice, qualifying P4 and P6 for the race and finally finishing P3 and P5, it was a solid weekend.

Russell once again managed to finish in the top 5 and backed his second podium of the season, he managed to beat his team yet again. Mercedes are third on the championship table.

Mercedes and Hamilton can finally announce the hunt of the top after the jump they got in the Spanish Grand Prix.
