However, recent document leaks have again sparked the discussion about whether the Briton should stay as the team principal at Red Bull or not. Now, Toto Wolff has urged F1 to take matters into its own hands.

Just after it was revealed that Horner was free from any allegations, an anonymous source leaked confidential documents regarding the case to F1 personnel and journalists worldwide. This impulsed members of the paddock to demand a fair and transparent investigation of the case. Following, this, the Austrian team principal has commented on the pressing issue in the F1 world. Toto Wolff urged the FIA along with F1 to intervene and solve the issue.

I think the moment I start to continue to question how this has been handled, I'm probably not doing any good to the whole issue. Let's see where it goes in the next days. I would very much hope that the governing body, the sanctioning body and the commercial rights holder set the compass right.
Toto Wolff said as reported by motorsport.com.

Wolff stated that if he commented on the issue, it would devalue the F1 as a sport overall, but the incidents taking place currently are tarnishing the sport’s image. The Austrian further stated that a correct action should be taken in relation to the situation as to increase the confidence among people that they are safe at their workplace and will not face any type of harrassment. However, FIA President Ben Sulayem is also weary of the issue, but explained that they cannot launch an investigation unless there is a formal complaint made by other teams. Thus, thowing the saga to continue on for a little longer.

I believe that, from what I have seen, there continue to be many rumors, speculations and questions. I think the FIA has a responsibility and an authority towards our sport, our fans and all of us in Formula 1. We need to make sure that things have been completely transparent.
Zak Brown said as reported by formulapassion.it.

The 52-year-old stated that there have been a lot of speculations regarding the case overall. Furthermore, the FIA should intercede in the issue and help in resolving it as tampering with the reputation of F1 as a whole.

For now, the case has been dismissed and Horner will stay as the chief at Milton Keynes. However, reports have suggested a feud between the Englishman and Jos Verstappen is currently circulating in the media. Therefore, it’s anybody’s guess who will be commanding the team in the coming months.
