Max Verstappen, the reigning F1 world champion, annihilated his competition during the 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix. He won the race by a margin of 22 seconds over second place Sergio Perez and seeing this, Mercedes boss, Toto Wolff has claimed that the Dutchman could win all 24 races this year.

The ongoing season is the longest in the history of the pinnacle of motor racing. Toto Wolff believes that the show Max Verstappen put around the Bahrain International Circuit is proof enough to assume what’s to come from him this year.

While talking on the same lines during the post-race interviews, he said, as reported by racingnews365:

I think Max was not in a different league but in a different galaxy. The performance was extraordinary.

Wolff was further asked if in his opinion Red Bull and Verstappen could win all 24 races this year, as a response, he added,

Unfortunately yes. You need to acknowledge his performance levels, they are very strong.

Toto Wolff has left no stone unturned in acknowledging the might of the Milton-Keynes-based outfit and their star driver, Max Verstappen. The RB20 is a mighty beast that Adrian Newey and Co. have been able to produce for this year.

Toto Wolff has several problems to deal with at Mercedes

While the Mercedes boss has applauded Verstappen and Red Bull on their brilliant outing in Bahrain, he also understands that his team has a lot of catching up to do, not only to the Austrian outfit but also to the lights of Ferrari and McLaren.

While talking on these lines during the post-race interview, Wolff said, as reported by racingnews365:

But everybody else, we saw the differences between the Ferraris, and I believe that the group of Ferrari, McLaren, and Mercedes were probably in a similar ballpark. We just need to look at ourselves.

The 2024 F1 season is only one race down and there are still a total of 23 races to take place. Different tracks have their own kinds of demands and considering this, the upcoming race at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit could suit the Mercedes W15.

However, keeping in view the dominance of Verstappen and co. in Bahrain, one has to wonder, how the other teams will stack up in comparison to them at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Going into next week, the general consensus is that Max Verstappen and Red Bull will once again dominate.
