Toto Wolff reportedly meets with Mohammed Ben Sulayem following FIA’s jewellery crackdown

Toto Wolff and Lewis Hamilton have not been at all happy with the newly reinforced law on jewelry. We have always seen Lewis Hamilton who has spoken for stuff for things he believes in irrespective of the consequences of his words. He has time and again emphasized on him being more than just a driver and his urge to make a difference in the society or the sport with the kind of influence he has had.
Recently, the seven time world champion has mocked the FIA for its decision to force the drivers to not wear any jewelry keeping in mind the safety measures. But Lewis Hamilton recently confirmed that there is a lot of jewelry that he can’t rid of. This begs the question whether is this the battle that he wants to involve himself into? It seems like that he wants to get the decision overturned at any cost.
Lewis Hamilton in one of the interviews wore a lot of jewelry to show dissent for the decision of the FIA. Toto Wolff also recently said, “He would take the jewellery ban “a thousand times over” if it was Wittich’s only error,” as reported by express. Toto Wolff took a dig at the former race director who costed Lewis Hamilton the title. But it was also seen that Toto Wolff also met with FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem after the restrictions.

Toto Wolff unhappy with FIA’s decision of jewelry ban and reportedly has had a meeting with Mohammed Ben Sulayem
It has been reported that the FIA president has made his intentions clear regarding the laws enforced by the new race director and has further specified that strict actions will be taken against anyone who doesn’t follow the rules.
“FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem was seen going into a meeting with Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff.”
It has been reported, “The first violation of wearing jewellery in the cockpit carries a fine of €50,000. The second is €100,000. The third €250,000 and the possible deduction of championship points.”
Lewis Hamilton and Toto Wolff have so much important things to focus on after a disastrous start to the season that just being involved in such a petty issue.
