Lewis Hamilton, the former seven-time F1 world champion, has become the talk of the town after his recent move to the Ferrari F1 team from 2025 onwards. A lot has been said about it already and amidst all the noise, Mercedes boss, Toto Wolff has come forward to shut down questions regarding the Brit’s integrity.

Since the announcement of Lewis Hamilton‘s move to Ferrari, questions have been raised about whether the former will pass on certain technical information to the Ferrari camp. However, Toto Wolff has shut down the questions in one blow by claiming that he does not doubt Hamilton’s character.

We have engineers leaving us and going to other teams, and the notice periods are sometimes as short as six months. So I have no doubts about Lewis' integrity when it comes to passing on information. We want to make sure that this is a successful season, a successful season for both drivers, and a successful season for Mercedes, and we will all do our best to achieve that.
