Nyck De Vries was a forgotten man in the F1 paddock until this year’s Italian Grand Prix and was not in contention for securing a seat for 2023.

However, everything changed, when he was called up by the Willimas F1 Team to get into the livery of Alex Albon in Monza. That was the moment when he really put his name out there in the driver’s market.

The Dutchman did a stupendous race for the team and was able to bring back 2 points, moreover, his on-track tussles during the race, also helped him in getting in the eye of Helmut Marko.

He was applauded up and down the paddock for his performance and that got him a well-deserved seat on the AlphaTauri team for next year.

Considering that the 27-year-old will enter his first F1 season next year, how would he fare against Yuki Tsunoda who has already got two seasons under his belt with AlphaTauri?
