Max Verstappen recently threw a party in Monaco to celebrate his upcoming 25th birthday, and while there were quite a decent number of his friends attending the party, one notable absentee from the big bash was none other than his teammate, Sergio Perez.
Sergio Perez was nowhere to be seen and as per reports, it is believed that the Mexican decided against attending Verstappen’s party because he wanted to spend more time with his family.
Max Verstappen’s birthday falls on the 30th of September, and considering during that time it’s the Singapore Grand Prix, the Dutchman decided to move up his birthday celebrations.
Since the last few races, Perez hasn’t been able to stay close to Verstappen in terms of pace and has come under the radar of the critics, and has also received a bit of criticism from his team.

While the 2021 World Champion is going all-guns-blazing in the current campaign, Sergio Perez’s form has taken a dip and has not been able to recover.
As per the rumor mill, it is believed that the Mexican’s lackluster form in comparison to Verstappen was one of the reasons why he decided to not attend his teammate’s birthday party.
