Valtteri Bottas labels Aurora lights as ‘Stake F1 team colors’ on his visit to the Arctic
Valtteri Bottas took one last trip alongside his girlfriend Tiffany Cromwell before the commencement of the 2024 F1 season.

F1 teams and drivers are meticulously preparing for the upcoming challenges in the 2024 season. Amidst this, Valtteri Bottas took a much-needed vacation from the hectic schedule of an F1 driver as the first race came near. During this vacation, the Finnish driver uploaded his pictures and recalled his team, the Sauber-run Stake F1 team during the vacation.
The couple took a lovely retreat to their homeland Finland just before the commencement of the 2024 season. The 34-year-old took to X to share multiple images of the trip alongside his girlfriend Tifanny Cromwell. Hence, amidst the trip in the ice-laden country, Bottas also shared a glimpse of the northern lights phenomenon called ‘Aurora Borealis’.
The natural lights are visible on the Earth’s sky during clear skies. Additionally, these lights are usually green in color and are similar to the Stake F1 Team’s primary color of choice for this season. Hence, the Stake driver took this opportunity to recall his team’s color and captioned the image claiming the northern lights were similar to his team’s color for this season. He wrote, “Colors of @stakef1team.”

Valtteri Bottas intends to drive for Audi from 2026
The 34-year-old has been in the sport for quite a while now and has driven for teams like Mercedes in Formula 1. Additionally, Stake brought major changes to the team for their 2024 campaign, including the rebranding of the team’s name, logo, and even the chassis and livery. The Stake F1 team would be takenover by Audi on the grid by 2026.
Hence, The Finnish driver has shared his interest in racing for the German automobile manufacturer in the sport. Bottas pointed towards the contractless drivers during Audi’s arrival. Hence, subsequently, the 34-year-old mentioned that he definitely was eyeing a potential contract with the team and wanted to be a part of the Audi project.
Currently, the team will continue the season as intended following the major changes to the team. Valtteri Bottas had outshined his teammate Zhou Guanyu in both the seasons that he has driven for the team. Hence, the 2024 season would be exciting for the fans who have been following the team since their Alfa Romeo days as the team undergoes major rebranding of the team.
