Formula 1 is a global sport. The paddock attracts the biggest celebrities from Hollywood and other sports every race weekend. Stars such as Shakira and Brad Pitt were present at the British GP. Now, the Hungarian GP, too, has had its fair share of big names gracing the paddock. The latest name is American actor Terry Crews.
Crew is an American actor known for his role in the show Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The 54-year-old was spotted during Martin Brundle‘s grid walk before the start of the Hungarian GP. Brundle mentioned that he was informed that Terry Crews would be easy to recognize on the grid. The American actor agreed with the F1 presenter and joked about his muscles preparing for the race.
The 54-year-old pointed to his chest and moved his muscles. He said, “It’s still working. I’m revving up like this car.” The pair laughed as they concluded their conversation. Crews were standing near the Red Bull RB-19 of Max Verstappen starting from the front row—certainly, the best car to compare with the muscles of the American actor.

Fans witness an action-packed Hungarian GP
Despite Max Verstappen‘s seventh race win in a row, the Hungarian GP proved to be an entertaining race for viewers. Perhaps even more entertaining than Terry Crews’ chat with Martin Brundle. The Grand Prix witnessed a close battle for the podium spots between Lando Norris, Sergio Perez, and Lewis Hamilton. The Mercedes driver failed to get on the podium after starting from pole position.
Lando Norris managed to fend off Perez in the ending stages of the race to secure his second podium finish in a row. At the same time, the Mexican driver had an impressive drive from P9 to P3 for Red Bull. As such, the fans in attendance and the celebrities in the paddock would’ve been pleased to witness yet another exciting F1 race.
Terry Crews stole the show in Martin Brundle’s grid walk. The American driver managed to grab the attention with his fan-favorite action. Perhaps, Crews’ comments might’ve served as a morale boost for teams on the grid as he claimed to revv his muscles like an F1 car. It would be interesting to see if the American actor returns to the paddock soon.
