Carlos Sainz emerged victorious at Singapore as Max Verstappen struggled
The Singapore GP was one of the most exciting weekends of the 2023 season. Max Verstappen and Red Bull seemed to face difficulties during the entire weekend as the RB-19 failed to perform as expected. This paved the way for Carlos Sainz to battle at the front of the pack for victory at Marina Bay. Moreover, Liam Lawson even out-qualified Verstappen for the race.

Sainz went on to win this thrilling race, The Spanish became the only non-Red Bull race winner of the season. While Max Verstappen came back home in fifth place as he tried to salvage some points for the team. Lawson brought in two points for the Faenza-based team as he finished in ninth place. the 22-year-old managed to have a solid result despite the fears raised by his peers.
Certainly, the Singapore GP remains a fan favorite as it provides thrilling action for fans. Moreover, the Marina Bay weekend was the only race where Max Verstappen and Red Bull were nowhere close to winning the race. However, it remains to be seen if things replicate in the upcoming F1 season.
