Fernando Alonso and Aston Martin

Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll had a troublesome moment which could have led to a very nasty crash but eventually left the drivers unhurt. Valtteri Bottas had a bit of a moment while driving which got the Alfa driver stuck on the gravel and called the safety car on the track.

As the safety car ended, Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll saw each other right beside each other. Alonso being reckless saw a chance and jumped on to overtake the Aston driver but was left with a crash that took away his front wing and left his rear left damaged. From Stroll’s point of veiw, the Aston driver was caught not using his side mirrors ultimately failing to check his back causing the nasty crash which left Alonso on two wheels for a few seconds.

Fans didn’t hide any of their emotion and were totally on the ride of criticism. A few of the fans did blame Alonso for trying to ‘kill’ Stroll with his speed and careless no braking others were very suspicious about Stroll not using his side mirrors yet another time this season.

Max Verstappen won the US GP and gave Red Bull their fifth constructor championship, the first time after 2013. Alonso managed to get himself a P7 finish with all his damage while Stroll’s car couldn’t take the impact and was left with a DNF.
