Lando Norris, the McLaren Formula F1 driver, has been recently spotted trying his hands at Baseball with St. Louis Cardinals star player Paul Goldschmidt at West Ham’s football stadium. Lando Norris is one of those F1 drivers who are always up for new things, and with his latest adventure, he has amassed quite decent attention.

Norris is currently in England and has some idle time as the Austrian Grand Prix is still a week away. Keeping this in mind, the Briton is making the most of his off time and has enjoyed chatting with Paul Goldschmidt and learning about Baseball during the F1-MLB crossover event.

While talking about his time with the Major League Baseball start, he told Sky Sports, “I have never been to a baseball game ever or the warm-up whatever it is, and I just don’t come to stadiums like these. It’s pretty sick, the guys are at the top of their game, so it’s an honor to be here,”.

He was further asked to rate his knowledge of Baseball on a scale of 1-10, and while responding to it, he said, “I mean, it’s like swinging a golf club but sideways right, pretty easy, it’s the same thing.” The 23-year-old is well known for his sarcastic side in the F1 paddock, which is quite evident from his comments that he’s just being his sarcastic self.

While Lando Norris has sounded joyous ahead of the upcoming Austrian Grand Prix, deep down, he is quite disappointed with the state of things at the papaya-colored team. McLaren has fallen backward this year and is sixth in the Drivers Championship. However, what worries Norris the most is the pace of the MCL60.

The Zak Brown-led team is going through a tough phase at the pinnacle of motor racing, and Lando Norris has been left with no option but to keep grinding. The young Briton is considered one of the most exceptional talents on the current Formula 1 grid, and it is extremely tough for his supporters to see him fighting for 1-2 points every race.

However, there are still plenty of races left in the ongoing campaign. If the McLaren team can keep improving its car from Austria onward, there could be a scenario where Lando Norris could showcase his skills as an F1 driver. He has got the temperament to be successful in F1, and it is just up to his team to deliver a solid car.
