The Singapore GP is one of the most exciting rounds on the 2023 F1 calendar. The Marina Bay Circuit is a challenge for drivers as they try to wrestle their cars through the tight and twisty corners. However, Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll failed to keep it clean during Qualifying, as the Canadian driver binned his car into the wall at the end of Q1.

Stroll struggled during the start of the first Qualifying session in the AMR23. The Canadian driver was at the bottom of the timesheets during the final stages of Q1. Lance Stroll tried to get the most out of the car to get into Q2. Unfortunately, the 24-year-old lost control of the car and had a huge impact on the barriers at the final corner.

The Aston Martin driver suffered a heavy collision, with a wheel coming off his car straightaway. Thankfully, Lance Stroll came out unharmed from this massive crash. This led to an early end to the first session of Qualifying after a red flag was called out. Q2 would start at a delayed time as well after the marshalls had cleared the track.
