Lewis Hamilton is a Formula 1 icon. The seven-time champion has achieved unprecedented success in the sport with over 100 victories. However, a few races in particular remain special for the Briton, including his 2021 Brazilian GP win. Subsequently, Hamilton recently got the chance to visit a massive tribute painting for his win at Interlagos two years ago.
Eduardo Kobra, a renowned street artist made an incredible graffiti painting of Lewis Hamilton’s last win in F1. The seven-time world champion had defeated Max Verstappen in a spectacular drive at Interlagos. Hamilton went onto the podium with the Brazilian flag and the helmet of F1 legend Ayrton Senna.
Subsequently, the mural depicts Hamilton standing on the podium with the national flag and the helmet. The 38-year-old is an honorary citizen of Brazil as well. Lewis Hamilton decided to make a visit to this outstanding tribute after the 2023 Brazilian GP. A clip on X showed that the seven-time world champion decided to autograph this masterpiece as a sign of his approval as well.

Lewis Hamilton last won a race 2 years ago
Lewis Hamilton once dominated the pinnacle of motorsport. The Briton won a staggering six world titles between 2014 and 2020. However, this incredible run of success came to an end in 2021 after Verstappen took the championship in Abu Dhabi. Moreover, Mercedes’ struggles with the ground-effect regulations further put Hamilton down the order.
The seven-time world champion has had two woeful seasons since. Hamilton has failed to make it onto the top step of the podium since the 2021 Brazilian GP. As the Silver Arrows are simply unable to match the dominant Red Bulls. Although, the Brackley-based team has tried to bridge the gap in recent rounds.
Nevertheless, Lewis Hamilton remains hungry to win in F1 again. The seven-time world champion recently signed a new contract that would see him stay with Mercedes till at least 2025. Subsequently, the British driver is willing to wait and help the Silver Arrows in a bid to race at the front of the pack once again. Although, it remains to be seen if Hamilton and Mercedes can catch Red Bull next season.
