Lando Norris has established himself as one of the most exciting drivers in F1. The British driver joined McLaren in 2019 and has helped the team rebuild itself through the years. The 23-year-old has had a strong social media presence. Now, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez got the chance to look at an old tweet of the McLaren driver.
Verstappen and Perez were shown a tweet from May 2012, when Lando Norris was only 12 years old. The young Briton wrote about his first day of school in that year’s new session. Norris was looking forward to having pancakes cooked by his mother. However, the tweet comprised a few errors that would surprise a reader.
The two Red Bull drivers were confused with the grammar used by Lando Norris eleven years ago in a clip that surfaced online. Max Verstappen asked, “Oh my god… What is this spelling?” Sergio Perez on the other hand asked the age of the British driver in 2012 with Verstappen claiming that Norris was perhaps only five years old back then.
Lando Norris is an option to partner Max Verstappen at Red Bull
Norris has impressed the entire paddock with his results in recent years. The McLaren driver has managed to become the lead driver at Woking. The 23-year-old even outperformed 8-time race winner Daniel Ricciardo as his teammate. Subsequently, Lando Norris has become an option for top teams on the grid including Red Bull.
Lando Norris has been in talks with the Austrian team in the past. However, the 23-year-old remains firmly committed to McLaren for now. Nevertheless, Red Bull has mentioned that the British driver is an option for the future if Sergio Perez is ousted from Milton Keynes. Although, both drivers have contracts with their respective teams for 2024.

Certainly, Lando Norris could be the right option for Red Bull in the future. The Briton can deliver some outstanding results as he has showcased time and time again. However, Norris might be looking to continue with McLaren with the recent rise in performance. Although, it remains to be seen how things shake up for Norris at Woking.
