The reigning world champion recently revealed the main reason why he prefers to stay away from the hit series.

You don't see a lot of me on Drive to Survive, which is why I don't like doing it. You probably don't get the right side of me because it is just an interview, I am just sitting down in a dark room and I hate that. And there's always questions just about F1-related stuff which I don't like to talk about.
Max Verstappen said in an interview with The Project

The 26-year-old mentioned that he does not like being a part of the DTS series altogether. He feels that it is just a two-way conversation while sitting in a pitch-black room. Moreover, Verstappen also does not like the fact that the questions are entirely focused on F1. All such factors ultimately forced the Red Bull star to withdraw from the series and stay away from it.
